- Pressure seal bonnet valves are a compact alternative to bolted bonnet valves, especially for high-pressure applications. These valves feature a bonnet closure assembly in which the internal fluid pressure acting on the bonnet increases the compressive load on the sealing gasket, creating a self-sealing closure. In contrast to bolted bonnet designs, the sealing performance of pressure seal bonnet valves improves as the pressure increases.
- Pressure seal check valves automatically open under the velocity of the flowing medium and close by gravitational force when the flow reverses or stops. Based on disc design, check valves are generally classified into two types: swing type and tilting disc type.
- Check valves are installed in pipelines to prevent reverse flow of the medium and to ensure one-way flow within the piping system only.
