The centerline butterfly valve, also called concentric butterfly valve, features aligned centerlines for the valve stem, disc, and body, offering a simple structure and easy manufacturing. Commonly rubber-lined, it ensures tight contact between the disc and seat to prevent leakage. The valve's sealing structure aligns the disc's sealing line with the body and stem axis, with smooth flat surfaces near the stem and a spherical outer edge for effective sealing. The rubber seat liner is molded for optimal surface roughness, minimizing wear and leakage.
