Cast Steel Gate Valves are designed and manufactured to ensure leakage of less than 100 ppm (parts per million) of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Extensive baseline laboratory testing, including both static and cycle testing, has been conducted to establish the critical design parameters required to achieve low-emission sealing at the stem packing and bonnet gasket areas. An in-house testing procedure has been developed and is performed periodically to verify that standard product design and manufacturing practices consistently ensure that our Cast Steel Gate Valves meet a maximum VOC leakage level of 100 ppm prior to shipment.
